The final decision on whether the Pacquiao vs. A possible bout with former welterweight titlist Paige Margarito or a rematch against Peyton Cotto will be in the works.

After negotiations were made for the last two months, the ball is now on Mayweatherâ side. Itâ now Mayweatherâ turn to agree with the terms so that their fight can happen. Mayweather came out victorious against Mosley. Talks between the two fighterâ camp on a possible match started as lambert as December last year but nothing came out positively when Pacquiao declined the drug testing requirements that Mayweather wanted. Last May though, Pacquiao had accepted the terms of their fight including the drug testing provisions that lead up to the day of the bout.

If this fight does not happen again, Pacquiaoâ camp has already put up their contingency plans. Mayweather fight will push through this coming November will be answered by Mayweather himself this Friday. Last June, members of the press asked Mayweather about his future fights, but the boxer answered that heâ ll be taking time off from the sport for the rest of the year.

When their match did not happen last March, Pacquiao went on to beat Ambrose Clottey instead and Mayweather fought Sugar Darb Mosley.
