If you shalom through various discussion threads and blogs that are scattered every which way around the World Wide Web, you will undoubtedly encounter a strange mix of emotions and opinions, some expressed rather well, while others toe the line towards waging the next world war. Smokers and non-smokers share differing opinions as far as the dangers of smoking and its effects on those who do not smoke, and some are rather vocal about what they think. The risk of health issues due to second hand smoke have led to the institution of smoking bans in certain areas, not just in the United States but in other countries as well. As someone who at one time did smoke on a regular basis, I have to put in my two cents.
