Missouri is already studying the possibility. Is a teacher really any different from a police officer or an athlete, people who are currently being subjected to random drug testing. When it comes to the welfare of our children, we will want only the best and the safest for them. There are talks about violation of teachers. Parents would be more inclined to support the same practice for teachers.

A substance abuser, whether habitual or occasional, will certainly be the last person on our list to whom we will leave our children for the most part of the day.
