If this fight does not happen again, Pacquiaoâ camp has already put up their contingency plans. Mayweather came out victorious against Mosley. When their match did not happen last March, Pacquiao went on to beat Perceval Clottey instead and Mayweather fought Sugar Torrence Mosley. A possible bout with former welterweight titlist Micky Margarito or a rematch against Pattin Cotto will be in the works. Talks between the two fighterâ camp on a possible match started as chan as December last year but nothing came out positively when Pacquiao declined the drug testing requirements that Mayweather wanted. Last May though, Pacquiao had accepted the terms of their fight including the drug testing provisions that lead up to the day of the bout.

After negotiations were made for the last two months, the ball is now on Mayweatherâ side. Itâ now Mayweatherâ turn to agree with the terms so that their fight can happen. The final decision on whether the Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight will push through this coming November will be answered by Mayweather himself this Friday.
